{Madison} | Senior

Madison has so many cool images! (Again, I know you have read this here before) I have never been so happy with everything I have shot than I have this summer. Madison's session is no excpetion. Between amazing style, beautiful eyes, gorgeous hair, and fantastic locations, I think we couldn't have made Madison look more beautiful. And she was a total natural. I love it when my Seniors get comfortable and just really rock the shot. Okay, enough of my rambling...







Kayla, Madison's sister, came with us and they wanted this gorgeous shot...



I love the dynamic you can see here of Madison and Kayla as sisters. I can't wait to see this between my girls some day..







FAVORITE! TOTAL TOTAL FAVORITE! AND we practically had to do a chinese fire drill to get this shot. LOVE!

{Alysia Vaske} | Artist Collaboration, aka "The Funky Shoot"

It all started as a comment on a facebook mobile upload. My friend, Alysia Vaske, had painted one of her AH-MAY-ZING designs on her apartment sliding glass door because, well, she had run out of canvas. I was inspired at the instant that I saw it. My head raced with ideas. Let's get Alysia to paint on PEOPLE! BRILLIANT!!



It didn't take long to get a HECK YES!! from Alysia and the ball was rolling. I knew what I saw in my head and knew exactly what I envisioned was something that would be awesome to her as well. We did a casting, we found our people who were down with being painted and everything fell together.







Some where along the line, it was named "The Funky Shoot". I love that. Funky is my word. ;)

I cannot end this post without thanking the wonderful Rachel Elliot, Robin Spencer, Amanda Painter, Katie Miller, Kylee Laukhuf, & Dancia Myers for being hip to the crazy stuff that goes on in my brain and getting as excited about it all as I do. And to our GORGEOUS models: Jason, Austin, Sarah, Toni, Amanda :) You guys are all irreplaceable and always always appreciated!

{Tales of Time} | Exclusive Hairpieces

Cassie Seals contacted me about the opportunity to shoot an exclusive promotion for a new line of handmade hairpieces. Cassie's funky fun and colorful style totally grabbed me. Plus, I love feathers ;)

I cannot thank the amazing team of hairstylists and makeup artists, and also these beautiful faces you see here, enough for all they did for this shoot! Brandi! There ready! I thought I would never be able to weed down this session, let alone pick blog favorites! I am so lucky this summer with such wonderful models :) And a wonderful team. Thanks to Dancia Myers for the outstanding makeup! Brandi is no exception... Look at those SHOES.



The sweet car karma is always in my favor. Brandi's dad has some really awesome toys. Thank you for letting us use them :)



Not only did Brandi take me to her family home, but also to her family farm, and then to her family pond :) I'm so happy when sessions are shot on location with a special place to my seniors.





And I saved the best for last... I am IN LOVE with these pics, and I think they will be in the studio windows soon!

{Aryn} | Funky Indiana Senior Photography

I'm pretty sure Aryn has made the longest trip out of all my Seniors so far! Aryn came from Indianapolis to Van Wert to get her Senior images. Her dad is a native of Van Wert, and while visiting in early summer she had seen my Senior Marketing shoot images. I was sooo excited after her mom called to schedule her.





Hair by the amazing Rachel Elliot who never disappoints. That chica has mad skills. And that gorgeous makeup? The one and only Dancia Myers..
